What is Veri*factu?
As of July 1, 2025, the Veri*factu regulation will come into force, so compliance with the issuance of invoices with a certain structure, format and technical characteristics will be mandatory. It affects all types of companies, professionals and freelancers.
All systems that do not comply with these requirements for issuing invoices, such as cash registers and others, and invoice formats in Excel, Word, and PDF, among others, will become obsolete.
Invoicing programs must be updated to comply with the new regulation, failure to do so will result in a serious infraction and the consequent penalty.
In any case, the invoices must be sent to the AEAT electronically and can be checked by reading the QR code that must be included in the paper invoices.
